Baked Apple Microwave Recipe 2 PointsPlus Weight Watchers!

This baked apple microwave recipe is very similar to the ones that you can make in a plastic baggie. But, something about cooking food in a plastic ziploc bag, inside of a microwave, doesn’t sit well with me.

1 Apple
1 Packet of Splenda
1 tsp water
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cornstarch

Cut a red apple into slices, red tastes best! If you prefer the skin off, like me, be sure to peel it before cutting. Place the apple into a microwave safe dish, sprinkle the Splenda across the top, add in water, cinnamon and cornstarch. Cover the container, leaving a vent for steam and microwave for about 2 minutes.

For a little extra sweetness, you can add a dollop of cool whip free for no added points. I hope you enjoy this baked apple microwave recipe!
